Arsenal and Chelsea are in the market for a new centre forward but should they limit themselves to just one? Striking sensations Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres are two of the most in-demand strikers right now after scoring a staggering total of 68 club goals between them last season.
Rumours has the Gunners and the Blues are considering swooping for one of them, although securing their signatures might be easier said than done. Sporting Lisbon's Gyokeres, 26, has an £86million release clause in his contract while luring Isak, 24, away from Newcastle would probably require a similarly hefty sum, with the Magpies no longer under pressure to raise funds due to Premier League financial regulations.
However, if either club has deep enough pockets, why not sign both? I know, I know, playing two strikers up top is about as old hat as Abe Lincoln's stovepipe, but if any pair can make it work, Isak and Gyokeres can.

But don't just take our word for it. The strikers themselves have admitted they love playing together in the Swedish national team.
Last year, Isak claimed he and Gyokeres "compliment" each other during games and that he feels more "freer" when his fellow Swede is on the pitch. "I can move a little in depth and come down a little. [We] find a balance, it's a role that I feel secure in," he stated in a chat with Afton Bladet.
Gyokeres echoed this sentiment in a conversation with Borometern, stating: "Yes, [my partnership with Isak] feels good. We get into a lot of good situations."
These may just be words, but their actions has bolstered their sentiments as Gyokeres has netted three times for his national side since the interviews (although one was discounted following an early end to the Sweden vs Belgium match), while Isak has scored twice.
That being said, Sweden failed to qualify for the Euros (you may have noticed). But that's nothing but good news for prospective buyers, who won't have to hold their breath over potential injuries or worry about a last-minute wondergoal jacking up the asking price.
Only time will determine whether either Arsenal or Chelsea elect to gamble on either player. And if either club is audacious enough to net both the prolific strikers, fans of the Premier League could be in for an absolute treat next season.
