Scotland fans at Euro 2024 have been filmed singing a sickening chant mocking the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Footage of the song was shared on social media on the eve of the Prince of Wales' trip to Germany.
Scottish supporters gathered on the streets of Dusseldorf were captured smiling and holding pints of beer as they chanted "Lizzie's in a box" to the tune of KC and The Sunshine Band's 1982 hit 'Give It Up'.
The disgusting footage references the late Queen's death in September 2022. Her death prompted an outpouring of grief around the world and there will be shock at the offensive lyrics.
Queen Elizabeth II died at her Balmoral residence in Scotland after 70 years on the throne.
It comes as her grandson, Prince William, arrives in Germany to watch England's crunch Group C clash with Denmark tonight (Thursday). Kensington Palace confirmed William's attendance at the match, which could seal England's path into the knockout rounds.

Scotland earned their first point of the competition on Wednesday, drawing 1-1 with Switzerland. They were smashed 5-1 by Germany in their opening game.
Meanwhile, England fans have defied warnings from the German police and the Football Association about their own chants in Germany. Three Lions supporters were asked not to mock German war casualties while touring the country for the tournament.
Despite that, footage of fans singing the chant '10 German bombers' to the tune of 'Ten Green Bottles' has been shared on social media throughout the Euros. It came after they were warned 'don't be a d***' by a senior German police officer.
The head of Gelsenkirchen police, Peter Both, said ahead of England’s game against Serbia: “That’s what I would say to them: Don’t be a d***.
“If they sing a song like this, I can’t change it. It’s not punishable in Germany. I hope that all the other peaceful and law-abiding fans say to them, ‘Stop it’.”
The Telegraph reports that on Saturday, England fans also unfurled a banner featuring a picture of wartime prime minister Winston Churchill and the words: "NEVER, NEVER, NEVER GIVE UP."
