are threatening to take the title race down to the wire against , according to their manager .

Following a resilient run of four straight victories after last month's upset against Aston Villa, Arteta believes his team is ready for a final-day showdown.

"I've seen that the whole season," said Arteta on the robustness demonstrated by his side lately, adding: "They give me the reason to believe that every single day. We are right on it. The motivation for what is ahead is beautiful. We are all expecting that they're going to have a real go."

Despite Arsenal's impressive form, reigning champions City, led by Pep Guardiola, remain at an advantage with just one point behind Arsenal and an extra game to play against Tottenham.

Even if City clinches victory in their game in hand, the fight for the title could still be left to the decisive final day, provided Arsenal can secure points during this Sunday's game against Manchester United at Old Trafford, an event that is sure to see plenty of high emotions as Arteta looks to keep his composure.

Arsenal manager Arteta has been known for his animated behaviour on the sidelines this season, earning him a league-leading haul of yellow cards in the process. With five bookings already on his record this term, the Spaniard is just one more away from a touchline ban, which would see him miss Arsenal's crucial final-day clash against Everton.

Arteta was already forced to sit out one match this season after being sent off against Manchester City in February, and his absence was keenly felt as Arsenal fell to a 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa.

"It was what it was," Arteta said after the Villa loss. "I tried to adapt. I think the boys did really well to communicate what we wanted and the team had a really good performance."

However, missing the potentially title-deciding match against Everton would be a major blow for Arteta and his side. He will be hoping to keep his cool at Old Trafford and avoid a suspension that could prove costly in the title race.
