Jamie O'Hara exclusive: I like Hojbjerg - but he will leave Tottenham

Ange Postecoglu surprised a few people by fielding Pierre-Emile Højbjerg in Totteham's line-up against Arsenal last Sunday.

It was a first start for the Danish midfielder in 10 league games or since Everton on 3 February. He's had his critics and obviously doesn't feature much in the Australian manager's plans, but you don't find former Spurs player turned radio pundit Jamie O'Hara among Højbjerg's critics.

"I like him as a midfielder. I think he's a leader, he's a captain type. He lacks being able to move the ball quickly in tight areas. He's a stopper, really, and he'll try and break up play but you noticed against Arsenal when it's quick and it's fast paced with little intricate one-two's in tight areas, he doesn't quite have it," says O'Hara who believes the Danish international will be on the move this summer.

"I don't think he will stay, if he's not playing. I think Højberg is the type of character who thinks he's good enough to play. And he probably is good enough to play Premier League or European football and I think a big club will come in for him.

"He's a good player, he was with Bayern Munich when he was young, Manchester United wanted him in the summer. People in the game know, he's a good football player so he'll have options that's for sure. But I also think he probably needs to move on from Spurs," O'Hara concludes.
