Manchester United will make sure they get a good fee for an academy product this summer.
The Red Devils are said to have informed Mason Greenwood that they will automatically extend his contract by a year.
The forward is not one who United want to retain for the long-term, but they want to protect his value.
Greenwood spent the season on loan at Getafe in Spain, where he has impressed.
According to ESPN, United are demanding £30 million to £40 million to sell Greenwood.
The likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus and Atletico Madrid have been linked to his signature.
