Bologna chief exec Claudio Fenucci says they're determined to keep Thiago Motta's squad together.
Fenucci also is hopeful of coach Motta staying.
He said: "The rumours have had absolutely no influence, Thiago works as if he had a long-term contract with Bologna, this can be seen in the quality of the daily work and in the improvement of the individual players, like a coach who has a perspective. There is no problem generated by the fact that at this moment he has not confirmed his path with us for the next few years.
"We are all absolutely convinced that we must work on immediate objectives, which at the moment means the match against Roma on Monday.
"What bothers me a little is the media's comparison of our members to other teams, there is too much noise around our players, it doesn't sit well with me. We are a strong club, one of the most solid in the world. There is no intention in the future to change this group. The intention is to continue the path with this coach and with our players.
"It is very annoying to see our players linked with other teams' logos in the media, an unpleasant feeling. I'm sure that all this has a limited effect on them, they are all focused on the objective and they are all happy to be in Bologna. Ours is a company that is financially solid thanks to our shareholder, it has prospects long term and a growth project not only in terms of sporting results but on the corporate organisation, the training facilities, the stadium project. We have a vision of the future and financial solidity to continue on this path."
