Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola took aim at the Santiago Bernabeu pitch last night.
Guardiola was unhappy with the length of the grass as City drew 3-3 at Real Madrid in the first-leg of their Champions League quarterfinal.
He said: "I imagine people will have had a good time. You are worried all day about how you control the Madrid transitions, but it is impossible. The best thing has been with 2-1 the match was at risk and we have been exceptional. We have played it very well. Little by little we have been generating more danger."
About the new Santiago Bernabéu stadium, the Catalan did not hesitate to respond with irony: "I like to see the sky, but the truth is that the stadium is impressive.
"The next step for Florentino (Perez, Real president) is to take care of the grass!"
