chief Michael Edwards is reportedly willing to allow to leave the club this summer. The winger is expected to attract plenty of interest from Saudi Arabian outfits at the end of the season, and a move is not being ruled out at this stage.

Salah was the subject of immense interest from Al-Ittihad last summer but Jurgen Klopp spoke publicly against the pursuit, insisting that the Egypt international remained central to his plans at Anfield this season.

The winger has repaid the faith of his manager by scoring 17 goals and assisting nine in 25 appearances, playing a key role in Liverpool reasserting themselves as title contenders. However, although the forward has shown his class at Anfield, he has also showcased what he could offer to the Saudi Pro League.

According to HITC, Middle Eastern outfits are already readying their initial approaches for the former star as they are keen to agree a deal with Liverpool before the summer transfer window opens.

Saudi sides are ‘confident’ that a deal can be struck for Salah this summer, and they may be encouraged by newly-appointed CEO Edwards’ stance on the matter. The Reds chief is willing to agree to sell the ex-Roma star this summer if he receives an indication from the player himself that he would like to move on.

Al-Ittihad remains the ‘most likely’ destination for Salah if he does decide to leave Merseyside due to their financial firepower, though other top clubs are not entirely out of the race for the tricky winger.

Liverpool are already working on shortlisting a replacement for Salah, though moves for any of the targets are expected to be delayed until it is clear that the No. 11 will leave the club. talisman Pedro Neto is among those being eyed by the Anfield outfit, with also in the race to acquire the services of the Portuguese star.

Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Florian Wirtz is also admired by Liverpool, though it was previously reported that the Germany international is likely to remain at the BayerArena beyond this summer after manager Xabi Alonso announced that he has no intention of leaving the club at the end of the season, despite approached from Liverpool and rivals .
