Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard highlighted the importance of William Saliba after their 0-0 draw at Manchester City.
It was the first time Arsenal have not been beaten at City in eight years, with Saliba missing last season's defeat due to injury.
Odegaard said: "Any team in the world would miss this guy. You can see his quality both off and on the pitch, so I'm glad he's fit now.
"A terrific player with a terrific effort again today."
He added: "We all wanted three points, that's clear, and we did our best to testify, but it wasn't enough, so we'll take the one point with us."
