Marchisio rates Barella among the best in the world.
He told AS: “He's still growing, despite already being at a very high level.
“He keeps confirming himself as one of the best midfielders in the world.
“His goal the other day against Ecuador is proof that he has the kind of composure that distinguishes the really top-class players," he added. “Despite a second half that was far from brilliant."
