Former Dundee United and NAC Breda striker Mario Bilate is backing Arne Slot for the Liverpool job.
Slot was linked with Tottenham last year and is now being mentioned as a potential successor for departing Reds manager Jurgen Klopp.
Speaking on TV Rijnmond, Bilate said: "He has created something and really showed Europe that he has his own philosophy.
"A step up will not be a problem, it will mainly be a choice of which club he thinks suits him best.
"I think that is Liverpool."
