Newcastle boss Eddie Howe admits he's delighted with the form of Anthony Gordon.
Howe was speaking before Monday's clash with Chelsea.
He said: "He has been excellent, the responsibility which comes with that position he has done it superbly for someone who is so young.
"He has added with goals and assists, I am delighted with every aspect of his game this year."
On Gordon potentially being called up by England:, Howe also said "I don't know how close he is, that is for Gareth [Southgate] to talk about not me.
"He has been consistent and that is what Gareth is looking for - he is in a really good place.
"I would say don't focus on England. Focus on your club form and everything else will take care of itself."
