Roony Bardghji has been frozen out by FC Copenhagen after refusing to sign a new long-term contract, according to reports. The 18-year-old recently admitted a summer move to Tottenham is 'fun' to think about as top clubs prepare to shoot their shot at the end of the season.

Bardghji has enjoyed a superb breakthrough campaign in Denmark, racking up 10 goals in all competitions, including a late winner against Manchester United in the Champions League.
But the young forward's momentum has been shattered since the winter break. Bardghji has not played a single minute in any of the three matches following Copenhagen's return to competitive action earlier this month.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Danish club have consigned Bardghji to the bench as a result of him snubbing a new long-term contract.
The teenager's current deal expires in December 2025, and the closer he gets to expiration, the lower the fee Copenhagen will bank by selling him on. Several top clubs are understood to be monitoring Bardghji's situation ahead of the summer transfer window.
Tottenham are among them, and when asked by Sportbladet about the possibility of a move to north London, he responded: "It’s fun to think about. You never know, it could happen. It's hard to say at the moment."

Spurs' collection of young Swedish talent grew earlier this month, when they pre-agreed a summer move for prodigious midfielder Lucas Bergvall. The senior international will join up with Dejan Kulusevski ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
It remains to be seen whether Bardghji could become a third member of the group. The Kuwait-born forward faces being sidelined for the rest of the season unless a compromise is reached with Copenhagen regarding his contract situation.
Postecoglou welcomes Dragusin and Werner to Tottenham
Ange Postecoglou has overseen several changes to the club's forward line since landing in the Spurs hot seat. Brennan Johnson, Manor Solomon and Alejo Veliz were all signed last summer, with Timo Werner joining them in January.
Champions League qualification may give Tottenham the edge in the race for Bardghji, although they have ground to make up on fourth-place Aston Villa, who are five points ahead having played a game more.
