Omari Hutchinson is showing he has what it takes to make an impact in 's first-team. The youngster's stellar recent showings on loan at have thrust him into the limelight, and a return to Stamford Bridge could put two Blues players at risk of slipping further down the pecking order.

Hutchinson had only played two senior matches before joining the Tractor Boys on loan last summer. The Redhill-born talent was a major player at youth level, having risen through the ranks with Arsenal, but his move to west London was overshadowed by a raft of young and exciting signings instigated by co-owner Todd Boehly.

The 20-year-old is now making sure he remains in Pochettino's plans with an eye-catching run in the second tier. In his last five appearances, Hutchinson has scored three times and bagged two assists, registering a goal contribution every 48 minutes on average.

Able to play out wide or in attacking midfield, the youngster has worked his way in from the fringes under manager Kieran McKenna this season.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, several overseas clubs are keeping tabs on Hutchinson with a view to testing the waters this summer. But Pochettino may wish to give him a run in the senior ranks in light of his recent showings.

Doing so could leave Noni Madueke and Mykhaylo Mudryk in trouble. The pair are both high-value assets, having arrived at Chelsea in deals totaling a combined £117million.

But neither has been able to stamp their authority on Pochettino's starting XI this campaign. Mudryk has scored three and assisted two in 19 Premier League appearances, but he has been used exclusively from the bench in recent weeks.

It is a similar story with Madueke, who has managed only four Premier League starts all season. The duo could be deemed surplus to requirements by Boehly this summer as Chelsea look to stay on the right side of the Premier League's Profit and Sustanaibility Rules.

Five candidates to replace Mauricio Pochettino at Chelsea

The players' chances of a hasty exit would only increase if Hutchinson continues his red-hot form in the Championship. The Jamaican international is just one of numerous highly-rated prospects on Chelsea's books.

Fellow wide man Angelo has benefitted from regular football on loan at Strasbourg this season, while 16-year-old prodigy Kendry Paez, who will join his Chelsea team-mates when he turns 18, has been tipped to become one of the world's finest players.
