Liverpool hero John Aldridge expects an "edgy" Carabao Cup final against Chelsea.
He wrote for the Sunday World: "If you watched Liverpool tear Chelsea apart at Anfield last month, it would be easy to assume today's Carabao Cup final at Wembley will be a walk in the park for Jurgen Klopp's side – yet it will be anything but that.
"Liverpool hammered Mauricio Pochettino's side 4-1 that night and in truth, it could have been a much bigger beating.
"When you consider how much money Chelsea paid out to build their squad over the last couple of years, the performance they served up at Anfield was nothing short of a disgrace.
"This was a team full of individuals, playing for themselves after taking the big money and the crazy long contracts on offer to sign for Chelsea.
"They didn't look like they had any interest in fighting for the club or their team-mates, rather this was a set of players out there for themselves.
"They even left their poor mascot standing on his own in the centre circle prior to kick-off, in a scene that summed up how little they cared about the image they were putting out there.
"Yet I don't expect that pathetic version of Chelsea to turn up at Wembley today.
"They have had a few decent results since their miserable performance at Anfield and history tells us that Wembley Cup finals are rarely one-sided.
"No one wants to lose when a trophy is on the line and the extra tension leads to edgy matches."
