Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri was relieved after their victory over Cagliari.
The Romans won 3-1 to ease the recent frustrations of Sarri.
He said: "It was a fearsome match, it could have been very difficult, Cagliari is fighting against salvation, but 90% of the points they scored were scored at home.
"It was fearsome, but we were good, we played with more quality than usual. We were mentally good when we got the 2-1 goal, it could have become a trap but we immediately took it back and closed it.
"We are talking about a team that everyone defines as being in difficulty, but looking back for a moment at the last 7 games we have scored 16 points, the average is 2.15, an extraordinary average but we have had a bad start to the season and some bad performances, we are paying for this.
"Voices? I think that speaking from the outside requires considerable presumption, without experiencing an environment and a locker room: I didn't have many doubts about that. The team may have mental and character limits, but it doesn't have other things.
"(Ciro) Immobile? If he is lucky enough not to suffer any other ailments so that he can improve, he must do a different job."
