FC Copenhagen sports chief Peter Christiansen admits they could've sold Roony Bardghji last month.
Chelsea and Barcelona are interested in the Swede.
Christiansen told Bold: "In general terms, I can say that we have a lot of players who have done well for a long time. This applies both in the Super League and in the Champions League two years in a row
"So I think I will stick to saying that if we wanted to, we could have done it, but that has not been our 'aim'.
"We wanted to stick together in the group, and we are hunting in the Superliga, and we are still playing in the Champions League, so it was important to stick together in everything.
"Roony's time will come. I'm sure of that."
