boss admitted being "really upset" that his side failed to keep a clean sheet, despite storming to the final with a 6-1 second-leg victory over . The Blues were coasting to a place at Wembley before conceding a late consolation goal.

An own goal from Jonny Howson set Chelsea on their way early on, before goals from Enzo Fernandez, Axel Disasi and Noni Madueke in addition to Cole Palmer's brace secured the emphatic victory.

But that came before Morgan Rogers grabbed a consolation for the visitors at Stamford Bridge, curling an effort from the edge of the box past Djordje Petrovic in the dying embers of the match, much to the frustration of Pochettino.

"I was really upset," he told Sky Sports. "I was really upset because we need to learn from that. We need to play seriously until the end. But it's true and you know very well, but sometimes yes it looks like you won't finish the game (well) so they come and make mistakes because you lose a little bit of focus.

"In this case for me, I am disappointed. We are disappointed because we conceded a goal and this is not good. Because we are a team that we need to use every single second to prove, we cannot miss this type of action.

"We are building... when we start to build with the space and the capacity that we have, we have to be more focused. Very disappointed Jimmy (Floyd Hasselbaink). It didn't kill my happiness but I was a little bit disappointed to finish the game."

But on the whole, Pochettino was impressed with Chelsea and especially their clinical nature in front of goal. It marked a stark contrast from the first leg when they could not break Michael Carrick's side down.

"Today we were very clinical in front of goal," he added. "We missed that in the first leg and we were disappointed. Today we were really good and I think that is the difference.

"These types of games are a good experience for young players and it is about now growing and it will help us to compete. We are building a very good team. The mentality is good. We have plenty but we need time.

"I think the performance, I was never disappointed with the performance - it was because we were not clinical. Today I think is our ninth game unbeaten and it is really good. It is a new project. We are building a team and sometimes it is normal to play worse. We played well and we didn't win but now it will be a big boost for us."
