AC Milan attacker Christian Pulisic is full of pride after being named the USA's Player of the Year.
Pulisic joined AC Milan last summer, making an immediate impact with his talent and commitment, scoring 7 goals and providing 6 assists in 26 appearances across Serie A, Coppa Italia, and the Champions League. The American player, who recently also won the award for the best Serie A Player of the Month for December, surpassed competition from AC Milan teammate Yunus Musah, as well as Folarin Balogun, Ricardo Pepi, and Matt Turner.
“It's an honor to win this award again for the fourth time," Pulisic said to USMNT from Milanello. “It was an incredible season for me. I always enjoy playing with the national team and winning more trophies with the national team. Of course, coming here to AC Milan, it's been just a really exciting year. I've enjoyed it so much, so I'm really grateful to win an award like this."

Pulisic: “My first goal for AC Milan. It was a special moment."

Pulisic: “The one against Frosinone. I remember receiving an assist from our goalkeeper Maik Maignan before chipping the opponent's goalkeeper."
Favourite assist?
Pulisic: “The one I provided to Oly [Olivier Giroud] against Napoli with my left foot."
Best match?
Pulisic: “Undoubtedly, the one against Newcastle United, culminating in an exciting victory in the final minutes."
The most special memory?
Pulisic: “The day I signed with AC Milan. It was a really emotional experience and a big day for me. My father, some friends, and family were here in Milan. It was truly an unforgettable day."
What have you learned this year?
Pulisic: “I've learned to be more patient and to be more present in the moment, with the awareness of enjoying every moment, whether positive or negative."
The most pleasant surprise?
Pulisic: “This. The one you just gave me along with the USMNT team, announcing that I won the award as the US Soccer Male Player of the Year – it holds a special meaning."
What is your hope for the future?
Pulisic: “To win trophies in the coming year, continuing to pursue my dream with determination and passion."
