American goalkeeper Zack Steffen has left Manchester City to return to his homeland.
The United States international is set to resurrect his career in goal in the coming months.
Steffen has signed for Colorado Rapids after four largely unproductive years at City.
The club thanked Steffen for his service, pointing out the trophies he had won in his time as a Citizen.
However, the keeper only made 21 appearances for the club in all competitions in those years.
The 28-year-old spent time on loan at Middlesbrough in the 2022-2023 season.
