Real Madrid captain Dani Caravjal admitted frustration after their 1-1 draw at Sevilla.
Carvajal struck Real's equaliser after Sevilla went ahead through a David Alaba own goal.
He said: "We came here to win, we had chances but we suffered in some stretches of the game. It was an uphill struggle after we conceded a goal, but we managed to salvage a point.
"The team fought very hard. We lacked fluidity in our play and we struggled to get forward with clarity, but we had chances to win the game. In three days we have another game and now it's time to rest.
"This year I spoke to the coaching staff and they told me to go up for the corners. I like to be there, block and be ready for the rebound. I saw that it was going to fall to me, I timed it well, jumped high and I'm happy to give the team a point.
"I'm feeling very well and I'm experiencing one of my best moments in terms of my game. I hope it stays like this for a long time."
