San Marino defender Roberto di Maio has taken aim at 'Mr 80 million' Ramsus Hojlund for complaining about the way he was treated during Denmark's Euro 2024 qualifying win over the European minnows. Hojlund opened the scoring for Denmark in their match against San Marino on Tuesday night and looked on course for a straightforward win.

But a shock was on the cards when San Marino equalised with just 30 minutes left on the clock. Yussuf Poulsen saved Denmark's blushes with a late winner, but the Danish players were not happy after what they felt was some underhand tactics by their opponents.
Denmark players felt San Marino overstepped the mark on a few occasions and that the officials let too many things slide. One such tackle saw Di Maio shown a yellow card after he kneed Hojlund in the back.
The United forward spoke out after the match and challenged the way San Marino approached the game. But Di Maio has hit back at Hojlund for his remarks, insisting the Denmark international would have struggled to play professional football earlier this century against "real men".
Di Maio wrote on Instagram: "Today I read that Mr 80 million is complaining because yesterday he received unpleasant treatment from the defenders of San Marino...
"Well dear Rasmus Hojlund probably in a football like today's where physical contact has disappeared you can afford to make fun of ugly and repeated gestures we small opponents or to simulate at every opportunity hoping in the VAR for a penalty...
"I would have liked to see you 15 years ago when only real men played football. You were a disappointment Hojlund."

San Marino defender Alessandro Tosi also vented his frustrations about Hojlund, suggesting the Dane didn't help his case in the match when he put his finger over his mouth to shush his opponents after scoring.
Tosi said: "We only told him that he was not behaving properly. What he did was not necessary. He is a very strong striker, but he was not fair at all.
"I haven't lost respect for him completely, but we expected better behaviour. His behaviour when celebrating was unacceptable."
