Red Star Belgrade captain Aleksander Dragovic admitted mixed emotions after their 3-1 Champions League defeat at Manchester City.
Osman Bukari had given Red Star the lead before halftime before Julian Alvarez struck after the break. His double was followed by Rodri netting City's third to settle the game.
Dragovic said, “I am not satisfied with the loss, but congratulations to my team. It's a shame that we conceded a goal right away, at the beginning of the second half. It was nice to play against City, you can learn from them. We have to be a team like this if we want success.
"You could see how strong he (Erling Haaland) is, he had several chances with his head, but (Omri) Glazer saved. It is difficult to play against him, it was not my first time, I know him well from the Bundesliga.
"It's hard to make him not get a chance in 90 minutes, but he didn't get a goal. Although, it would have been better if he scored but we won."
