The January transfer window draws nearer and nearer with speculation aplenty despite the ongoing World Cup in Qatar. Liverpool-linked Jude Bellingham and Cody Gakpo, a Manchester United target, are two of the main players in the rumour mill while Marcus Rashford's future is also a topic of conversation at the moment.Trending
PSG have revealed interest in signing Rashford whose United contract expires at the end of the season. Their president Nasser al-Khelaifi said to Sky Sports: "He’s another player that is really amazing. And for free? To have Rashford for free, every club would run after him, definitely. We’re not hiding it, we spoke before and [there was] interest, but the moment was not a good moment for both sides.
"Maybe, summer, why not? Today if he’s a free agent of course we can talk to him directly, but we are not going to talk to him now. Let him focus on the World Cup. Then after, in January hopefully, if we’re interested we will talk to him."
Elsewhere, rumours linking Bellingham to Liverpool remain boundless with the Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder a top target for Jurgen Klopp. And Netherlands' Gakpo is similarly a high-profile option for Erik ten Hag's United, who need a new striker after cancelling Cristiano Ronaldo's contract.

Tottenham will have to spend £26million to sign Weston McKennie from Juventus in January, according to reports.
Antonio Conte is keen to bolster his squad as they challenge for a top-four spot once again and it is clear the Italian is a fan of McKennie, 24, who enjoyed a decent World Cup in Qatar.
He has long been on Conte's list, but there is also interest from Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea, as a report from Calciomercato says.
It is claimed that McKennie is interested in a move to the Premier League and could leave the Serie A club ‘immediately’ if they were to receive a ‘reasonable offer’ of £26m in January - and such a fee is unlikely to be out of Spurs' price range.Weston McKennie: The USA international could leave Juventus (Image: Icon Sportswire) 48 mins ago08:57Charlie MalamLiverpool eye World Cup star
Liverpool and Tottenham are both reportedly ‘seduced’ by the prospect of signing Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt.
The striker is part of the France World Cup squad and is enjoying a fine season in the Bundesliga.
According to Foot Mercato, teams in England and Italy are very interested in recruiting Kolo Muani next summer.
Liverpool are said to value his abilities as well as his versatility while Spurs supposedly went after the 24-year-old last summer before he left Nantes for Germany on a free transfer.
But Tottenham remain keen and are claimed to have held a meeting with his agent in London very recently with a view towards making another move for him in the 2023 summer transfer window.1 hour ago08:25Charlie MalamArsenal's January plans
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has confirmed the Gunners are planning to assess their options in January, with Gabriel Jesus set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Jesus has had surgery on a knee problem suffered at the World Cup and speaking after a friendly against Lyon yesterday, Arteta said: "What it affects is who we are as a team because he gives us so much.
"So what we can do after that, when we know the timescale [of his recovery] and when we can have him back, we will look at the options and try to make the right decision.
I feel like my squad is really good. Unfortunately, we've had injuries and we will try to see what we can do to be strong. We have players, we have a lot of accompanying players.
"[The question is] do we have the players that can give us the performances and the consistency that we need to maintain and improve from where we are?"2 hours ago08:15Charlie MalamMan Utd's Rashford fear
PSG president Al-Khelaifi's comments on Marcus Rashford come just days after a Daily Star story claimed Man United were 'fearful' of losing the striker.
The Star claimed Real Madrid are another club keen on the 25-year-old, who is yet to sign a £300,000-a-week contract extension that has supposedly been tabled by the Red Devils' board.
United can extend Rashford's current terms by another year thanks to an option in their existing agreement. But to keep him beyond 2024, they will need to agree a new long-term deal.
And as of yet, there has been no progress. The Star say Red Devils would listen to offers in the region of £80million for Rashford.2 hours ago08:00Charlie MalamGood morning!
