If you love your Utah workplace, now is your chance to win it a round of applause.
For an 11th year, The Salt Lake Tribune is sponsoring its Utah Top Workplaces contest and has opened nominations for the awards, with a deadline of April 19.
Any workplace with 35 workers or more is eligible, and employees can nominate their employer whether it’s public, private, a nonprofit or a government agency.

The yearly awards commemorate Utah’s best small, medium and large companies based on the views of their workers — as gathered and compiled by Energage, a Pennsylvania-based technology firm focused on employee engagement and research on improving workplaces.
“Top Workplaces awards are a celebration of good news,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “They exemplify the significance of a people-first workplace experience, reminding us that employees are the heart of any thriving organization.”
Workers get to evaluate their company via a 24-question survey from Energage that takes about 5 minutes to complete. Results will be published by The Tribune in the fall. Participation is free and carries no obligations to buy any products or services.
Energage conducts these Top Workplaces surveys on behalf of media outlets in 65 major U.S. cities and has surveyed more than 2 million employees at over 8,000 firms in the past year.
Last year, more than 51,000 employees in Utah were surveyed at 199 organizations, with 167 of those employers receiving awards.
