Girls in Kaohsiung City street fight are actually men, police say

Police say they have identified two people involved in a fight outside a Kaohsiung City nightclub two days ago, and despite their feminine appearance, the suspects are actually men.

Video footage of what Taiwanese media outlets described as two “hot girls” fighting outside a KTV nightclub in Qianjin District at 6:00 am, Monday, August 12, surfaced on social media yesterday, and instantly went viral.

Two women fight on street outside nightclub

The footage showed two apparent women, one much larger than the other, in a physical dispute in the arcade outside the nightclub. The larger woman is about to hit the smaller woman with a shoe, but politely stops as the smaller woman bends over to remove her high heels. A fight then ensues with hitting and hair pulling until the smaller woman finally overcomes her opponent and sits on top of her.

During the fight, one of the women clearly has her breasts exposed as her opponent lifts her shirt (visible in the unblurred video). However, police investigators say they have identified the suspects, and that both of them are male.

Qianjin Police Precinct Captain Mai Hanzhang was quoted in a TVBS report: “The two lawbreakers were colleagues. They had a dispute outside the door over a minor work issue. After questioning, both parties expressed their unwillingness to file a complaint of injury. The whole case was investigated in accordance with Article 87 of the Social Order Maintenance Act. Article 11 punishes “those who fight with each other”. Both “men” have been fined.
