Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) is enhancing its collaboration with the Macau SAR Government to promote community tourism and support the revitalization of local attractions. Since 2023, GEG has focused on the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards project, offering training programs to improve understanding of Macau’s tourism resources among its team members and the community.
In late 2024, GEG partnered with the Macao University of Tourism to launch the “Experience Macao with GEG” initiative, which included seminars on local history and culture.
Additionally, a five-day study program allowed 25 frontline staff to explore Macau’s cultural preservation efforts through classroom lectures and site visits.
These initiatives aim to deepen employees’ knowledge of Macau’s tourism landscape, enhancing their ability to promote the region as a premier destination for visitors.
