Police on Tuesday said they had arrested a man and were searching for another over a crane collapse that killed three workers at a construction site in 2022. Officers said the arrested man, 35, is a former project manager with the main contractor involved in the building construction in Sau Mau Ping. Meanwhile, a warrant has been issued for a 72-year-old structural engineer. Aggressive Construction Company, the contractor for the site on Anderson Road, confirmed earlier that a former employee had been arrested. The company added that it is being prosecuted over the crane collapse.
