Man due in court for drug production and trafficking

Police said on Sunday they are charging a 20-year-old man with producing and trafficking drugs. The unemployed man was arrested on Friday after a raid on an industrial building in Kwun Tong found 1.3 kilograms of crack cocaine and cocaine with a street value of around HK$1.6 million. Officers said they believe a syndicate had rented a unit in the building to produce the drug, adding that they're still trying to find out if some of it had leaked into the market. The man will appear at Kwun Tong Court on Monday.
