Mark Dolan has spoken out about what really went on causing him to be axed from GB News. The presenter created a tell-all YouTube video where he admitted that he had been sacked by the broadcasters.
Taking to his YouTube account on Friday evening (December 20), the comedian launched his own show - The Mark Dolan Show. On there he posted a clip called 'SACKED by GB News - My Story' as he explained what had happened, saying that it has "escalated".
In the lengthy clip, the TV host host admitted: "Let me tell you that leaving GB News was not my choice. I was fired. It took minutes. But let me tell you, they did it nicely."
He went on to say that he receieved thousands of people expressing their anger at why it has happened as he thanked them for their support. He then went on to offer a surprising thanks to the team that he worked with at GB News.
Mark said: "I want to thank GB News' bold and visionary management and I want to thank my brilliant production team on Mark Dolan Tonight for the extraordinary amount of hard work that they put into every programme.

"Let me tell you I have made friends for life - cherished friendships. And that is a wonderful thing.
"Plus, it's my view that Britain needs GB News and I believe it will prevail. But I am going to prevail too, and then some, with an online product that will get the country and the world talking. I can do more here than I could do over there, so watch me go."
He then went on to thank Dan Wootton - despite being called a "b***h" by his former co-star following his departure. Dolan said that he was the man responsible for getting him over to GB News in the first place.
"It's therefore awful how things worked out," continued the host. He added that he didn't have "much choice in the matter" when asked to stand in by GB News bosses when Dan left the channel.

Mark shared: "Dan's absence and ultimately departure was of course not my decision and beyond my control. He was a huge loss to the channel and, in my view, has not been replaced."
He said that he had been paid to "have an opinion" and would never change what he said - even when he had sometimes been wrong. Mark promised that he would be "naming and shaming in the months ahead".
The TV star went on to share that he would be presenting his own show, on YouTube which would be "uncensored and unapologetic", as he is no longer appearing on GB News.
