As Christmas approaches, BBC One is airing The Repair Shop: Favourite Fixes, showcasing highlights from all series over the past seven years.
Alongside teddy bear experts Julie Tatchell and Amanda Middleitch and metalwork maestro Dominic Chinea, Dean Westmoreland will be demonstrating his shoe repair skills.
With the expert, thought to be in his mid-30s, set to appear on the show this evening, Wednesday, December 11, fans are intrigued about his personal life.
Is The Repair Shop's Dean Westmoreland married?
Dean Westmoreland of The Repair Shop has had a successful career journey, starting as a footwear specialist at JJB Sports before becoming a shoemaking apprentice.
After a decade of perfecting his craft, Dean launched his business, Yorkshire Sole, in Shipley, West Yorkshire, in 2017.
While the star of The Repair Shop tends to keep his private life under wraps, it is known that he was in a long-term relationship during the early stages of his career.
The details of how he met his partner, Leigh, remain unclear, but it is known that they were together for seven years before he proposed to her at Betty's Tea Rooms in York in March 2018.
Gushing about his recent engagement on social media, the cobbler exclaimed: "She said yes! None of my achievements over the last seven years would have been possible without this lady and her love and support. I'm a lucky man."
Whilst keeping their ceremony intimate, he fondly looked back with a previously shared picture, captioning it: "Eight weeks and I get to marry this gem of a human."
It's understood that the pair are happily settled in Bradford, Yorkshire, with their two sons, Oscar and Otis.
Dean may be impressing audiences with his skills, but he insists that his sons are his biggest fans.
"They're quite young, so it's still exciting for them," he has remarked. "They're proud, but I reckon as they grow up, they'll find it all a bit embarrassing."
Their family expanded even further five years back when a playful puppy was introduced into their household.
Dean jokingly shared: "I thought having young children and a business wasn't quite stressful enough so I gone n got a puppy."
The Repair Shop continues every Wednesday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
