Coronation Street fans are scratching their heads over a "missing" character on the ITV soap.
In tonight's episode, viewers saw Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) intensify his clash with Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney). He pointed fingers at Debbie for reckless driving when his son Bertie dashed into the street, prompting her to hit the brakes hard.
Amidst Daniel's anger towards Debbie, Bethany (Lucy Fallon) attempted to calm the waters before they all ventured to the pub for a tipple. But audiences were left confused as Bertie was nowhere to be seen, sparking questions about who was minding the little one.
The plot thickened and confusion grew when Bethany and Daniel had a spat at the pub over Daisy (Charlotte Jordan), resulting in Bethany storming off to join her mother, Sarah (Tina O'Brien). Meanwhile, Daniel stayed behind, drinking away until he was thrown out following a scuffle with Kevin (Michael Le Vell), only to notice Kevin carelessly leaving Debbie's keys on her car tyre.
The next day, Debbie discovered her car vanished and promptly informed the police. Unbeknownst to her, Daniel had taken the vehicle and crashed it, with Daisy aiding him in concealing the incident and offering him refuge, reports Lancs Live.

Yet, throughout these dramatic events, fans remained perplexed by Bertie's absence. One viewer tweeted: "Who's looking after Bertie? #Corrie," while another chimed in with: "Who's looking after Bertie while Daniel's getting drunk #Corrie."
One penned: "#corrie Dad of the year, Daniel - not content with letting Bertie dart across the road when he wasn't watching him - has now left him with who knows who? to go out getting legless." The drama intensified following Sarah's fiery confrontation with Debbie at the hotel upon discovering she was the Brit behind the dodgy Turkish clinic.
Stunned by the revelation, Sarah lashed out: "All this time you knew you had shares, watching Bethany go through this and you said nothing," prompting Debbie to insist: "I've said I'm sorry over and over, and offered to help in any way I can."
In a moment of fury, Sarah retorted: "Name the time and the place, and I'll show you exactly what happens when you mess with my daughter."
