Loose Women: Strictly's Johannes Radebe says he's a 'blubbering mess'
A Strictly Come Dancing star has been forced to address a long absence on social media which left worried fans asking after him.
Strictly’s Johannes Radebe left the hit BBC dance show over a week ago after he and his celebrity partner for 2024 Montell Douglas were booted off the series after falling into the dance-off once again.
Johannes, who has been a pro dancer on the BBC series for years, posted a tribute to Montell on his Instagram account and then vanished for a week, making no posts or updates.
The absence led to concerns from fans, which Johannes then took the time to address today, finally breaking his week-long silence.
Johannes told them: “Been away from socials for a bit, juggling life… for those asking, I’m goooood.”
Fans rushed to back Johannes, as @deem_wendy said: “No need to worry JoJo… we know you are going to be absolutely amazing!!! Can’t wait to see the show in Cardiff!!! Just remember your audience love you.”
@rai_storey said: “You are going to be incredible. Just keep on being you, and all will be well.”
@freddexmorgan said: “Shame you can’t do the Live Tour with Montell but, but I know you’ll be rooting for her.”
Johannes then added that he’s started working on a new show, Kinky Boots, which is set to tour theatres around the country.
Johannes continued: “I don’t think anyone begins a rehearsal process with just one emotion. There is equal parts terror and excitement. Underneath that is the hope that this will stretch you, that you will matter and be part of the storytelling experience with your fellow cast. Looking around the room I saw many open, excited faces.
“Also full of fear and trepidation like me. I don't have names to some of those faces yet. But going to be sharing six months of my life with these wonderfully creative talented human beings. And the fear melted a little and I couldn’t wait to begin. Then we did.
“Big thanks to @roomonyourown for this opportunity with @kinkyboots_uk "...hope to make you all proud."
