The upcoming spy drama Black Doves, featuring Keira Knightley, is generating excitment among fans as they eagerly await the Pirates of the Caribbean's latest project.
Keira Knightley stars as Helen Webb, an undercover operative reeling from the sudden death of her partner, Jason (Andrew Koji). Joining forces with Reed (Sarah Lancashire) and her old companion Sam (Ben Whishaw), she seeks out her lover's murderer, racing against time before Christmas Day.
All six episodes available on Netflix from December 5 and the series is forecasted to be a major talking point in 2024.
Netflix has since released a second trailer and viewers have been left more excited for Kiera Knightley's next project.

Joe Barton, known for his work on Giri/Haji, created the new Netflix series, which will explore the mysterious Black Doves and a looming geopolitical crisis.
The plot synopsis for Black Doves reads: "Set against the backdrop of London at Christmas, Black Doves is a sharp, action-filled, and heartfelt story of friendship and sacrifice.
"It follows Helen Webb (Keira Knightley), a quick-witted, down-to-earth, dedicated wife and mother - and professional spy. For 10 years, she's been passing on her politician husband's secrets to the shadowy organisation she works for: the Black Doves.
"When her secret lover Jason (Andrew Koji) is assassinated, her spymaster, the enigmatic Reed (Sarah Lancashire), calls in Helen's old friend Sam (Ben Whishaw) to keep her safe.
"Together, Helen and Sam set off on a mission to investigate who killed Jason and why, leading them to uncover a vast, interconnected conspiracy linking the murky London underworld to a looming geopolitical crisis."
The series also features Andrew Buchan (Carnival Row), Omari Douglas (Rye Lane, It's A Sin), Kathryn Hunter (Andor, The Tragedy of Macbeth), Sam Troughton (Chernobyl, Mank) and Ella Lily Hyland (Fifteen Love, Silent Roar).
