Lorraine reacts to Coleen Rooney's rumoured I'm a Celeb fee
Lorraine Kelly had a two-word response as she learnt details about Coleen Rooney's rumoured I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! fee on Tuesday's show.
Earlier this week, the ten contestants joining Ant and Dec in the jungle were officially confirmed for I'm A Celebrity. The star-studded line-up will face trials and tribulations and up to three weeks sleeping under the stars in Australia before fans find out who will be crowned this year's King or Queen of the Jungle.
Stars confirmed for the 2024 series include Coleen, Tulisa Contostavlos, Oti Mabuse, Alan Halsall, Dean McCullough, Melvin Odoom, Barry McGuigan, Jane Moore, GK Barry and Danny Jones.
Talking about the line-up on Tuesday's episode of Lorraine, the Scottish host said: "Now look, Coleen Rooney is the one a lot of people are talking about, right?", reports the Mirror.
"She is leaving behind all of her boys, including her husband, she has had to be so organised before she went away!"
To which co-star, Tyler West, said: "She really has! She's apparently getting paid £1.5million to be in the jungle."
This prompted a shocked Lorraine to reply in a two-word response: "Oh, wow!" Tyler continued: "So of course in going away, she very much prepared herself to leave the kids at home" as a video of Coleen sharing her organisation skills on Instagram before leaving for the jungle played out.
It comes as Coronation Street legend Antony Cotton has spilled all on his co-star Alan Halsall joining I'm A Celebrity 2024.
Appearing on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain, Antony, who has played Sean Tully since 2003 on the ITV soap, revealed his final message to Alan, who has played Tyrone Dobbs on the cobbles since 1998.
Host, Susanna Reid, said: "Well, Antony, you spoke to Alan while he was on the plane and when he touched down he told everyone: 'No, I'm only here to play golf.'"
To which Antony replied: "I did, while he was in the air! He wants to play golf and he wants to come home as soon as possible so please everybody vote for him to do every challenge!
"Alan Halsall is the nicest man in the world, I don't know a single person who doesn't love Alan. He's absolutely loved by everyone at work."
However, Antony said of Alan's time in the jungle: "He's got a bit of a dickie knee, a bit of a dickie knee issue going on."
To which Susanna asked: "Will that matter in the jungle?" to which Antony replied: "Well yeah, it's all rocky!"
