Kate Middleton attends Remembrance Sunday service
Good Morning Britain fans have demanded one star be axed after controversial remarks she made about Princess Catherine.
Narinder Kaur stirred controversy when she made a jab about Kate Middleton’s “ageing” on X, formerly Twitter, despite her battle with cancer and subsequent chemotherapy treatment this year.
The former Big Brother star was a pundit on shows like Good Morning Britain and GB News, but argued she had been “cancelled” after the controversial remarks she made about the Princess of Wales.
The tweet that caused the X row read: “Genuine question – why has Kate aged so much? Isn’t she only 42? Is she a smoker? It’s the only explanation.” She later doubled down on her comments by arguing that when her own brother had cancer, he “didn’t age like that”.
Now GMB viewers are calling for her to be axed from the show, with one writing: “Dear @GMB, @loosewomen, @GBNEWS & @theJeremyVine. Please stop hiring Narinder Kaur. If you don’t, we’ll assume you endorse her hideous comments.”
Someone else said: “I don’t think I’ve seen this individual on @GBNEWS recently. There’s plenty of others who they shouldn’t have on but then sunlight is the best disinfectant so let them be responsible for their own downfall by their own words.”
As someone else argued: “GB News stopped inviting gobby Narinder Kaur on their show ages ago thank goodness!” and another fan said: “Boycott all those shows, then when it hits the viewing figures they might take notice.”
Others were ready to defend Narinder against cancel culture, however, and fumed: “She’s already removed the tweet and apologised. You knew that, of course.” As someone else said: “Now this I don’t agree with. This is just pure cancel culture now.”
And another posted: “All you GB News people go on about how bad cancel culture is but when it comes to someone mouthing off about a royal you like they need to be cancelled... I don't get it. Not saying she's right because it was a mean comment but surely it goes against the whole row.”
