Strictly Come Dancing has been caught in fresh drama as two dancers have reportedly ‘stopped talking’ and unfollowed each other on social media.
The pair, who both grew up in China, were said to have been close friends since childhood prior to their appearance on the BBC show. Carlos, 31, would often affectionately refer to her as his "favourite sister," while she called him her "baby brother."
Their rumoured fallout, which has left their co-stars "shocked," appears to have ignited from Nancy finding a dance partner while Carlos remains without one; as Nancy is now dancing with Shayne Ward, 40, according to a recent report.
An insider told The Sun: “The feud between Nancy and Carlos is really sad and has left everyone really shocked. They've been close since childhood, but have fallen out and unfollowed each other on socials.”

The source added: “The atmosphere on set is said to be awkward and tense when both are around, and to many it was a relief when Carlos didn't attend the show weeks ago. Carlos is said to be subdued after the falling-out and is also struggling with not getting a celebrity partner. His friends are worried about him as he is so far away from his family."
He has also wiped all traces of Nancy from his Instagram. The source continued: "He has wiped all pictures of her from his profile and unfollowing each other on Instagram is the ultimate finality in their friendship. With all the other drama in the Clauditorium, it’s the last thing bosses need."
However, the pair are not the only ones to have awkward tension behind the scenes. After Nadiya Bychkova and Kai Widdrington's split in June, the Ukrainian dancer admits the pair are ‘keeping things professional’ on the dance floor despite their recent breakup.
The pair are currently without dance partners in this year’s series.
In an interview with The Mirror, Nadiya admitted: “We work together but we are not friends and that's OK.
“One thing I can tell you is that when you see me dancing with him it will be amazing because I'm a professional.”
Revealing the reason behind the pair's break up a source previously told The Sun: "It’s heartbreaking. Kai and Nadiya seemed like the most perfect couple and have been so, so blissfully in love. But the pressures of touring - being in each other’s space 24/7, and the stress of performing a sell-out show eventually took its toll.
The Express has reached out to the dancers' representatives and the BBC for comment.
