Sue Barker says Questions of Sport presenters do keep in touch
On Tuesday's instalment of This Morning, presenters Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley spoke to former Question of Sport stars Sue Barker and Phil Tufnell.
Former BBC star Sue Barker addressed being axed from her role on Question of Sport after presenting the quiz show for 24 years.
The 68-year-old appeared on Tuesday's instalment of This Morning alongside co-star and friend Phil Tufnell as she spoke about her departure.
Host Ben said: "One of the things I struggled with a little bit from the outside was how it ended for you guys because it wasn't necessarily how you would've chosen. I mean these things are never going to be easy."
Phil agreed as he replied: "For sure, I just look at it as we had a fantastic time. I was very lucky."

He explained to the presenters that originally, he was on the programme as a guest multiple times before being asked to join as a captain.
Phil added: "It was a huge honour! I did it for 13/14 years, met these guys, had a great laugh and you can't do it forever can you?"
Cutting in, Sue shared her thoughts as she seemed unimpressed with how the BBC decided to let them go.
She said: "It's their show, it's their right. They wanted to make changes and do everything and that's absolutely fine.
"We totally accepted that, it's just the way it was handled. But, it's all gone now and we're back together."
Back in 2020, the BBC wanted to refresh the programme by bringing in new presenters, Paddy McGuinness and team captains Sam Quek and Ugo Monye.
Although Sue believed the broadcaster wanted it to appear as though it was her decision to walk away from her role, which she didn't agree with.
Elsewhere during the interview, the duo spoke about their upcoming tour A Question of… Live, with a former colleague Matt Dawson.
Asking what people can expect to see, Sue replied: "A lot of audience interaction, we ask the audience because they (Phil and Matt) need a bit of help.
"Of course, we'll definitely have the charades game."
Sue explained the format is similar to the Question of Sport format with two teams of three, answering questions within two rounds.
Phil teased there were going to be special guests along the way as Sue replied: "It's going to be a sporting who's who basically because a lot of people will come on."
This Morning continues weekdays on ITV from 10am
