Watch the trailer for Nobody Wants This
Justine Lupe, co-star of Kristen Bell and Adam Brody in Netflix's romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This, has piqued the interest of viewers.
The show, which premiered at the end of September, continues to be one of the most-watched on the streaming platform.
Alongside Bell and Brody, Lupe plays a pivotal role as Morgan, the sister of Bell's character Joanne and her podcast co-host.
The 35-year-old actress, who has appeared in several other hit shows, is now under the spotlight.
She portrayed Holly Gibney in Mr Mercedes, Astrid Weissman in The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, and Willa Ferreyra in HBO's Succession.
Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Lupe graduated from Denver School Of The Arts theatre programme in 2007 and later from the renowned Juilliard School of New York City in 2011.
Her late grandmother Kay Schomp, an arts activist with a theatre named after her at the Denver School Of Arts, isn't the only artist in the family. Lupe's father works as an exhibition specialist at the Denver Art Museum.
Despite her rising fame, Lupe remains private about her personal life, even attempting to conceal her pregnancy from her Nobody Wants This colleagues, reports the Mirror.
Lupe took to Instagram to promote her latest series and shared a humorous incident that led to the cast and crew discovering she was over five months pregnant.
Expressing her appreciation, Lupe wrote: "having a fully pregnant showrunner in @erinfoster, a relentless champion for motherhood in @kristenanniebell, a DP in @adrianpengcorreia who knows how to work the s*** out of camera to make me look, well, not pregnant."
She continued by thanking a "cast and crew who supported me from the moment my Gucci skirt ripped open in both the front and backsides on set at 2am when they had no idea I was pregnant and thought I was just rapidly falling apart...
"I had so much fun with this show and with Morgan in particular. I hope you have fun with it too!"
While Lupe is known for keeping her personal life private, it has been disclosed that she is in a relationship with a man named Tyson Mason.
Tyson Mason remains somewhat of an enigma, but his Instagram activity suggests he's an artist, as he frequently posts his remarkable sketches to his 1,400 followers.
Nobody Wants This is available to watch on Netflix.
