'Arrogant' Matthew Wright slammed over scathing King Charles rant as LBC row gets heated

Matthew Wright slammed King Charles' pay rise and called a listener a "serf" as he attacked the monarchy on his LBC radio show. The presenter infuriated people tuning in as he refused to let the man, whose name was David, get a word in edgeways after he said he was "a supporter of the Royal Family."

"If you saw me wave in the Union flag in support of the monarchy, you call me far right," David claimed. "No, I'd just call you a melt. Probably not far right, because I wouldn't know you're far right by carrying a flag,"Matthew clapped back.

Sneering into the microphone he continued: "You're happy to pay for someone to lord it over you, which makes you a serf, doesn't it? David, you're a serf," he reiterated.

As the caller insisted he was merely "a supporter of the royal family" and not a serf, Matthew cut across him as he tried to make a point.

"You're happy having pensioners freeze to death while the King gets a 50% pay rise. What kind of a man are you, David who cares more about the rich than the poor?" Matthew taunted.
