A beloved TV presenter has reportedly raked in over £500,000 for hosting a mere 99 episodes.
Lorraine Kelly's fortune is believed to have soared to £4million last year, despite her only presenting 99 of the 173 episodes of her programme since then. Her company Albatel Ltd's assets include a hefty £3.1million in cash, as per the most recent financial statements.
The television icon apparently paid around £108,000 in taxes in 2023, hinting at earnings of about £568,000. Loyal viewers have often quipped that Lorraine seems to be a rare sight on her own show.
With such impressive earnings, Lorraine stands as one of the highest-paid women in the broadcasting sector, out-earning ITV colleagues like Ruth Langsford and Alison Hammond.
Ruth's wealth took a hit, plummeting from £3.3million to £1.9million after she scaled back her television commitments. On the other hand, This Morning host Alison saw a modest increase in her finances, with a £6,000 boost bringing her total to £139,000, reports the Mirror.
The revelation of Lorraine's substantial income comes hot on the heels of news that her daughter Rosie is on the brink of motherhood. Rosie is just moments away from greeting her first child with her fiance Steve White.
Rosie took to Instagram in April to announce her pregnancy joy. She posted a picture of her baby bump, captioned: "We could not be more excited - you're already so loved little one."
She also shared a photo of a 12-week ultrasound scan, likening the size of the baby to a fig, with the words: "The bean at 12 weeks the size of a fig."

She showcased an elegant cot mobile set to adorn the nursery that her mum Lorraine has lovingly adorned.
