Coronation Street's Dee-Dee Bailey is on a mission to bring down the nefarious Joel Deering, and she's joining forces with DS Lisa Swain in the upcoming episode airing Monday (September 2).
The pair will be seen brainstorming in the police station, trying to find ways to gather incriminating evidence against Joel. Dee-Dee decides to take a bold step by visiting Joel's former workplace, Walcott Associates.
During their intense discussion at the station, Lisa admits her limitations: "My hands are tied Dee-Dee." Dee-Dee probes further, asking about any other potential victims: "Did you come across any other girls he'd been involved with? There's got to be some out there."
Lisa wonders if Joel had friends who might know something: "I was wondering if he had any friends who might have an incline about what he was doing?".
Dee-Dee skeptically responds: "I don't think he's got any. You know I'd never met them, red flag.", reports the Liverpool Echo.

Lisa reveals more about Joel's past: "Or colleagues, maybe? He was at a firm called Walcott Associates for a few years, but left abruptly."
Dee-Dee inquires: "Ok, do you know why? " Lisa explains her predicament: "No, and now the case is closed I'm not allowed to go and ask," However, Dee-Dee sees an opportunity: "But I could."
Lisa adds another piece of information: "Apparently they have a department that does work for vulnerable, young people."

The conversation takes another turn when Dee-Dee mentions Joel's personal life: "And he split up from his ex-wife because he had an affair? " Lisa seeks clarification: "What? When he was at Walcotts? " Dee-Dee speculates: "I don't know for sure but I'd put money on it."
Their strategy session is cut short as PC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) enters the room, leaving viewers to wonder if Dee-Dee will indeed confront Walcotts about Joel's shady history.
Joel, the cunning and manipulative character, is fully aware of his actions and is planning an escape from his crimes. He believes he can evade punishment for abusing Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) and other vulnerable young girls. But will Dee-Dee and Lisa catch him in time? Or will Joel manage to leave without facing any repercussions?
