Antiques Roadshow wouldn’t be the same without expert Geoffrey Munn but who is the star married to?
The BBC personality and jewellery specialist joined the daytime series in 1989 and is now the longest-running expert on Antiques Roadshow. With the star regularly appearing on the show to value beloved treasures, understandably, viewers want to know more about Geoffrey’s personal life.
Who is Antiques Roadshow expert Geoffrey Munn married to?
Antiques Roadshow expert Geoffrey Munn is married to a woman called Caroline who he tied the knot with in 1983.
While it isn’t known how the pair met, they went on to have two sons and now live in Southwold, Suffolk.
According to the East Anglian Daily Times in 2014, Geoffrey and Caroline own a beach hut called the Dog House which was tagged by Pure Evil, also known as Charley, as part of the Southwold Arts Festival.
While speaking to the publication, Caroline described her husband as “very open minded” and thought the artist’s work was “quite interesting”.
During his career, Geoffrey became a trust jeweller of the Royal Family and designed a brooch for Queen Camilla from Major Shand when she got engaged to King Charles in 2005.
Following the special present, Munn and his wife Caroline were invited to the royal couple’s wedding at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
This wasn’t the first time the couple rubbed shoulders with the royals either as they met Princess Margaret back in 1980 while he was writing a book about Castellani and Giuliano.
The royal had a collection of Giuliano jewellery which was a favourite of her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria.
Little else is known about Munn’s private life though, revealing very little on his Instagram, bar his love of wildlife, sharing nature photographs, as well as his birds and dogs.
