The recent arrival of Robin Morrisse as Felix, Summer Spellman's boyfriend, on Coronation Street has certainly caused a stir.
However, it has been reported that the heart-throb will make an abrupt departure from the popular soap just weeks after he first set foot on the cobbles.
Viewers watched in shock as Summer returned to Weatherfield, having completed her studies in America, introducing Billy and Paul to her new love interest.
But as is often the case on such dramas, things were not about to settle down. Felix overhears a disparaging comment made about him by Paul via his Eyegaze technology.
Before Billy and Todd have a chance to diffuse the situation, Felix makes his hasty exit. Actor Robin Morrisse, who has shared screen time with Hollywood stars like Tom Hanks and Halle Berry in Cloud Atlas, marked this role as his first foray into the limelight; since then he has become a regular on our screens, reports the Daily Star.

The actor, born and raised in Liverpool, previously played the part of Sergeant Fred Thompson in the police drama, The Tower.
His initial scenes in Corrie stirred up mixed feelings among the soap's fans who expressed their concerns about the potential disruption his character could cause within Summer's family, coupled with rumours of a possible scandalous affair between Felix and Todd Grimshaw.
These fears are not unfounded, as suspicion around Felix's true intentions towards Summer grew this week.
One viewer was quick to air their theory on the social media platform X, previously known as Twitter: "I bet Summer's new fella is actually a tutor from the University of America Who has come alone to use Paul as a 'case study' #Corrie."
One viewer expressed suspicion on social media, commenting: "Is Summer's boyfriend with her to study Paul up and close. I dunno what to think about him. #Corrie" Meanwhile, another urged caution, tweeting: "#corrie Don't let Felix anywhere near Paul."
Disquiet was further echoed by a third fan who posted: "I don't like him, there's something off about him. Run summer, run #Corrie."
