Emmerdale's Rose Jackson (played by Christine Tremarco), who recently made her debut as Dawn Taylor's (Olivia Bromley) estranged mother, may live to regret crossing paths with the formidable Kim Tate (Claire King) After a chilling threat in which she warned Kim that she would always come out on top, Rose could soon find herself eating her words.
In an upcoming episode, Kim makes a ruthless decision that leaves Rose shocked and reeling. Rose walked out on Dawn and her ex, Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) when Dawn was just a child. Now, Will is married to Kim, and neither of them were thrilled about Rose disrupting their lives.
Despite this, Rose has managed to win Dawn over, using this to provoke Kim. However, it seems Kim is not one to be trifled with and wastes no time in seeking revenge, excluding Rose from her family at the worst possible moment.
In recent episodes, viewers saw Dawn's baby son Evan diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Spoilers for next week reveal that Dawn and her partner Billy Fletcher (Jurell Carter) are spending a lot of time at the hospital with their son, while Billy also juggles caring for his and Dawn's other two children.
Despite having the support of Will and Kim, Rose finds herself isolated with no clear reason given for this sudden turn of events. It appears that Kim might be exacting a form of retribution against Rose after previously "winning" over her.
A threat from Rose prompts Kim to assert her dominance and ostracise her from the family circle.
It seems Rose is not allowed to visit the hospital or see her daughter, nor receive any update about Evan.
Dejected, Rose confides in Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) discussing the unfolding situation.
Rose seems to harbour a secret agenda, keenly probing into the friendship between Lydia and Kim.

Emmerdale: Rose revealed to be Dawn's mum
On discovering their growing bond, Kim feels a pang of jealousy but it remains to be seen whether it will fuel her anger further.
Earlier, Kim attempted to bribe Rose to leave the village, offering a hefty £3,000.
While Rose accepted the money, she stayed put and spent some of the amount before blowing Kim's cover to Will and Dawn.
Will Kim be able to push Rose out of the village for good or could the newcomer turn on the Home Farm owner after Lydia's betrayal?
