An exit could be on the cards for one beloved character after first-look pictures from Beyond Paradise show Martha Lloyd (played by Sally Bretton) and Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall) preparing for their wedding day. Martha and Humphrey haven't had the best of times especially after the cafe owner suffered a miscarriage.
However, in first-look pictures, Martha looks far from the blushing bride ready for her wedding day. Dressed in her wedding gown, Martha has a worried look on her face as she stares into the distance - but where is Humphrey?
Another photo shows Margo (Felicity Montagu), Kelby (Dylan Llewellyn), and Esther (Zahra Ahmadi) standing on the beach in preparation for the wedding, but do Humphrey and Martha finally say I do?
The synopsis for the episode, which airs next Friday reads: "It’s finally Humphrey and Martha’s big day and they are making their final preparations ahead of a lavish wedding ceremony planned by Anne (Barbara Flynn).
"But on what should be the perfect day, could Anne’s bridezilla-esque planning style - brought on by Richard’s betrayal - put too much pressure on the couple? And will a surprise on their fostering application ruin everything...?"
Tonight's episode will see the couple prepare for their big day, although, Martha and Humphrey continue to worry about Anne after she had her heart broken.
The instalment will see Humphrey investigating a case where a woman is found face down on the ground, with an arrow through her shoulder.
The victim, Niamh Kirby, didn't see her attacker, and there was no trace of their presence or weapon at the scene.
As the team digs deeper, a feud between Niamh and her brother-in-law is uncovered, which may or may not be relevant.
Meanwhile, Anne dives into the planning of the wedding, but Humphrey and Martha worry that she might be a little too invested in their fairy-tale ceremony after her recent romantic entanglements.
Last week, Anne realised the man she was dating, Richard (Peter Davison) was actually married.
Martha and Humphrey have had a rocky love story ever since they moved to Shipton Abbott, but will the duo finally get wed or will everything get too much and could they part ways?
Beyond Paradise airs on Friday at 8pm on BBC One.
