has been inundated with messages of support from fans after revealing he will be taking a "little break". The 33-year-old Strictly star, who is currently touring the UK with his own headline show, confirmed the news as fans eagerly await confirmation of his return to the dance competition this year.

Since joining Strictly in 2015 and winning the trophy in 2021 with actress Rose Ayling-Ellis, Giovanni has had a packed schedule. His Let Me Entertain You tour began at the Beck Theatre in Hayes in mid-January and has seen him travelling across the country.

The tour is set to conclude on April 30 at New Victoria Theatre in Woking, before Giovanni embarks on a two-man show with Strictly judge and friend Anton Du Beke in June. Despite uncertainty over his future on Strictly as the BBC has yet to announce its professional line-up for 2024, Giovanni has already revealed plans for a hiatus next year following another round of touring.

Giovanni announced the news on Instagram, sharing a poster for Giovanni - The Last Dance, which will kick off on January 20, 2025, once again at the Beck Theatre in Hayes, and wrap up on May 4, 2025, at the prestigious London Palladium.

"I have had a wonderful time this year on my solo tour and already looking forward to even bigger and better next year! " the Strictly legend told his Instagram flock. Alerting his 1.1 million followers, he insisted they grab their tickets swiftly: "After performing in front of over half a million people for seven years in a row, I plan to take a little break after next year's tour, so book your tickets in advance for 'GIOVANNI - THE LAST DANCE' now at www.giovannipernice.com."

Giovanni's fans quickly voiced both their respect for the Italian hoofer and hope that he wouldn't retire his dancing shoes too soon.

"No one deserves a break more than you do. Just don't stay away too long," one fan praised.

Another fan chimed in with encouragement: "You give so much, it's time to take some well-deserved time out for you."

Someone else congratulated him saying: "You deserve a break, you've absolutely smashed it these last 7 years. You should be proud of yourself."
