Emmerdale fans are convinced serial killer Meena Jutla (played by Paige Sandhu) could return to the Yorkshire Dales to avenge her sister Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker).
During Monday's instalment of Emmerdale, Manpreet confronted village villain Ruby Fox Milligan (Beth Cordingly) face to face about the newcomer badmouthing her at The Woolpack behind her back, but she was left feeling like she made matters worse.
Manpreet shared with her partner Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin): "Apparently Ruby was in the pub last night shooting off that I can't do my job."
After her tried to calm her down, she warned him: "This is my reputation on the line, I'm not just going to let her get away with it. She's gone too far, I'm standing my ground."
Manpreet, who is a village doctor, followed through with her words and called round Ruby's house later on in the episode to address the difficult situation.
Later on, Ruby told Manpreet she respected her for standing up for herself and even told the well-loved character she wanted to be friends which left the doctor taken aback.
While Manpreet appeared to accept Ruby's apology, viewers took to Twitter with their own theories.
Could she end up visiting Meena in prison and telling the serial killer about Ruby's vicious ways? Perhaps Meena will find a way to get revenge on Ruby to try and regain her sister Manpreet's affection.

Laura penned: "Where’s Meena when you need her to drop kick Ruby?"
However, other fans were more concerned Manpreet might start having an affair with Meena's ex Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) who is a married man.
Could Meena, who was madly in love with Billy during her reign of terror in recent years, find a way to ruin her sister's life in a revenge ploy?
Debs wrote: "Billy and Manpreet are going to have an affair… can see it coming. #Emmerdale."
Another added: "I hope the writers of #Emmerdale don't pair Billy & Manpreet together. Ruby, is so weird." (sic)
Pete said: "Maybe Manpreet will end up in the sack with Billy, Meena's ex #emmerdale."
Another fan noted: "Got a feeling Billy and Manpreet are going to get it on #Emmerdale."
