Bridgerton’s eagerly awaited third season will soon return to Netflix following the release of its highly anticipated trailer.
The teaser gave fans a sneak peek into the exciting new romance between Penelope Featherington (played by Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
The upcoming instalment kicks off with the hopeless romantic giving up on her crush on Colin and taking her love life into her own hands.
As she states: “I cannot live at home any longer. I must take a husband!”
Seeing she’s upset by her struggle Colin then offers: “If a husband is what you seek, let me help you. Are we not friends?”

However, after seemingly struggling to attract a suitor after a fair few awkward encounters, Penelope tells Colin: 'I would not be angry if you found me to be a lost cause.”
The tension between them continues to build as Colin's sister Eloise (Claudia Jessie) questions whether Penelope might actually be seeking a husband in him.
The next scene shows Penelope transforming into stunning dresses hoping to attract Colin, who soon begins to notice her beauty.
Colin then asks his mother: “Mother do you believe the best foundation for love is friendship?” as she responds: “It is rare but you must follow your heart!”

Penelope and Colin then meet in a garden at night, breathless, before the trailer dramatically ends, leaving fans eager to see if their friendship will take a romantic turn.
