The Sunday night slot on ITV, famously occupied by the popular drama Vera, is set to be taken over by a gripping new thriller featuring a Netflix icon.
Vera has been a staple of ITV's drama lineup since 2011, consistently drawing in audiences of around 8 million viewers.
Its series 13 opener even outperformed BBC's hit show Call The Midwife in a head-to-head ratings battle.
However, after a Christmas special in 2023 and a short run of three two-hour episodes, Vera concluded at the end of January.
Following the series 13 finale, it was announced that Vera would return for two more feature-length mysteries in 2025, with filming due to start in just a few weeks.
